Edvin's Story: Absolute silence instead of street noise

"I don't know exactly what the main reason was that pushed me to change all the windows in the house this year (4 French doors and 2 windows): maybe it was the stress from street noise, the cold house at night, the tax deduction savings, or the drafts coming from under the old doors. The fact is, these problems no longer exist thanks to winDirect!

At the beginning of this year, I had decided to change only the balcony door in my son's room and contacted a local installer. But the solution was expensive and did not satisfy me for several reasons: the old window was not removed, so the new one was installed over it, reducing the glazed area and therefore the light. The roller shutter, even though new, remained heavy, the new shutter box was just as bulky, and the street noise did not disappear in that room.

Then, searching on the internet, I discovered winDirect, which I immediately liked for the ability to choose everything yourself, from the types of windows to the glass and colors, all in an easy, step-by-step way (...).

I chose white Rehau Geneo windows and changed all the roller shutters with the monoblock system. I must say they are excellent! The monoblock is also aesthetically very beautiful because it is not bulky, and in some cases it protrudes less than the old boxes, so it disappeared under the plasterboard! And they are also quiet; previously, you couldn't raise the old wooden shutters without waking everyone in the house. An interesting novelty for me are the trickle vents, which I learned about from the winDirect website. They allow a minimal air circulation (but no noise) between the inside and outside; I installed them on all windows.

For me, it was the deal of the year, not only for the money, but also because the noise of cars and scooters will be a memory of the past. Thank you winDirect! Edvin."
